What Phirky.ai Is
Phirky.ai is a free AI-powered activity finder for Bay Area families. We help parents discover kid-friendly events, museums, parks, farms, and more through natural language search. We do not require accounts, logins, or payment of any kind to use the service.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal data. When you use the search feature, your search query is sent to our server to generate results. We do not store your search history, link it to your identity, or share it with third parties. We use Vercel Analytics to measure aggregate site traffic (page views, general usage patterns). This data is anonymized and does not include personally identifiable information.
Email Subscriptions
If you subscribe to our weekly picks email, we store your email address and the preferences you provide (kids' ages, interests, preferred delivery days, zip code, dog preference). This information is used solely to personalize the activities we send you. Emails are sent via Resend (resend.com) from picks@phirky.ai. You can update your preferences at any time using the link in any digest email, or unsubscribe with one click. We never share your email or preferences with third parties, and we never sell subscriber data.
Contact Form
If you use our contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent to us via Formspree (formspree.io). We use this information only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your information with third parties.
Activity Data
Phirky.ai aggregates publicly available information about activities, events, and venues from a variety of sources including city parks departments, library websites, museum sites, and event platforms. We do our best to keep information accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee accuracy. Always verify event details directly with the venue before heading out. We are not responsible for changes to events, hours, pricing, or cancellations.
Third-Party Links
Event cards and search results may contain links to third-party websites (venue sites, Eventbrite, etc.). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. When you click an external link, you leave Phirky.ai and that site's own privacy policy applies.
Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Vercel Analytics uses privacy-friendly analytics that do not rely on cookies or fingerprinting. Our site may use essential browser storage (e.g. to remember your search session or subscription status) but nothing that tracks you across sites.
Children's Privacy
Phirky.ai is a tool for parents, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our contact form or subscribe form, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy as Phirky.ai grows. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
